Hello. Im working on a 30 gallon experament at the moment. I would like your opinions on coco fiber matting. The type used for reptile and hermit crab tanks.I plan on attempting to place it on the back glass as a medium to grow java on around driftwood center peice. Any opions or idea welcome. Thanks.

If it is aquarium safe it could work. I would also worry about it degrading and falling apart.

Using some sort of mesh could work well also.

Many people have told me that Java moss is "invasive and that they don't recommend it. Supposedly xmas and peacock moss also work well.

Thanks. Ill look into those. That part of the build is still a long way off. I drilling the tank today and building the stand next weekend.
