Hi. Can anyone suggest which live plants would be OK for Orandas? I don't want to add something that they would rip apart easily or eat. Thanks!

There is no guarantee with goldfish but java fern and anubias are usually pretty safe

Anubias and Java Fern would make a good choice. When I used to keep goldfish when I was just starting out years ago I always went with those.

Hornwort is the only one that survived my goldfish

It grows faster than they eat it, and recovers quickly:)

I did try java fern once, and it was eaten but slowly....can't speak on Anubis

Hornwort is nice, but if you're not careful it breaks up into little pieces easily with a rummaging fish. I've had hanging filters in the past that would constantly get clogged up with it.

Yes, I have noticed that
Don't find it an issue in cold water tanks, but I never use it above room temperature anymore, as the shedding gets absurd the higher the temperature goes

OK thanks. I was told Baby tears would be good since they are going to lay eggs sometime. Needless to say they have been entertaining themselves all day ripping it apart
