I am switching my tank over to a FO tank. I have upwards of 90 LBS. Fiji LR and a bunch of other tank life that I would prefer to sell locally if anyone around here is interested. I would rather not bother with shipping but if I have no local takers I will be willing to expand my horizons.

Here is what I have in my tank that I would be willing to part with:

- 90 LBS. FIJI Live Rock
- Orange Ricordia Mushrooms (10 of various sizes) $15 each
- Purple and Red Mushrooms (lots) $5 each
- Hairy Shrooms (lots) $10 each
- Trumpet Coral Frag $10
- Button Polyp. $10
- Green Star Polyp $10
- Brown Star Polyp $10
- Zooanthids (green) $10

email me if there is any interest cpratico@yahoo.com

Thanks,

-Chris

Out of curiosity, why are you switching. My husband is pushing for a SW tank and I am not sure I want to get into that.

Although a tank utilizing live rock is initially very easy to maintain (no filters to clean, etc.) The coraline algae quickly gets out of control and due to the amount of LR in the tank, it is difficult to keep the glass clear. I am going to switch to a more minimalistic SW tank (fish, a few dead rocks and invertibrates) in the hopes that ultimately it is easier to keep the glass clear and maintain the look of a "show" tank.

BTW - I have had several inquiries about what I have available. After posting the original message, a few things hit the fan, and I won't be able to pursue this until at least another week. I'll have more details as to how much, what is available and some photos, hopefully by the end of next week. (1/21).

Thanks for being patient.

Ok, sorry for the delay.

Here are a few photos. I'm still trying to figure out ultimately what I want to do with my tank, however I am ready to weed out some of the previously mentioned stuff that has overgrown.

1. Orange Ricordia (ranging in size from a quarter to larger than a silver dollar)

2. Purple & Red Mushrooms (similar sizes)

3. Hairy Mushrooms (similar sizes)
