Live rock has color

My live rock has developed tiny purple areas over it. It looks kinda nice but wanna make sure it's not gonna be a problem. Also has tiny pointy things coming out of holes in the rock they kinda look like part of a pincher of a crabs claw. Any advise is great.

its a good thing means you have Coralline algae growth

you should pull the air tube off of that power head. you are going to have a salt mess all over everything. the surface gas exchange is plenty. you don't need the bubbles.
