Live Rock Putty/Adhesive

I have a bunch of live rock in a running tank. I want to move it to another tank. I am hoping to break it into smaller pieces and assemble it with putty/adhesive into a better aquascape. Right now it is a bunch of larger pieces.

1) can I use these products on wet rock?
2) which ones work the best?

I have never seen putty work well and have always stuck to super glue gel.
That won't be too successful, but you could drill the rock and put plastic rods through them to hold things together.

these plastic rods are what I used they work nicely , be sure you use a diamond/carbide tip
drill bit , others just dull right out .
