Hi guys, sorry for another stupid question..
I have a 65 gallon fowlr tank with a porc. puffer & N Trigger. They are both young and will be moving up to a 90 gallon tank in the next month (or so).
Trouble is they have picked clean the live rock, there's nothing more then the purple algea growing on it. The little plant life, everything...munched.
When the 90 is done, I'll be putting in a sump...would it be wise to remove the small amount of live rock I have in the 65 and put it in the sump to aid bio filtration, or is it pretty much dead rock now? Would it recover upon being left alone? Or would it be better to just get some new live rock?
Any thoughts?
Jess
