Live sand question

I'm in the process of turning my sump into a refugium/algae scrubber,I've added live sand to one of the sections in the sump which has made my 300ltr tank all cloudy, is this safe for my fish? I have 1clown,1 pj wrasse,1canary wrasse and 2 blue cheek gobies. Many thanks in advance.

Yes it should settle out! Keep track of the ammonia levels and nitrates to make sure it does not spike. I think you will be fine
