A lot of you have always said I should do a solid black background on my 55g... Well.... You got your wish! I really should've done this sooner! A huge thank you to all of you who suggested I do this since I've had my 55g!

That looks really nice. I can never decide if i like the 360 degree view better or the solid background. The black definately looks good on your tank though.

I actually like this a lot better. I think it makes my cichlids colors pop a lot more. And it really helped better conceal the cords from my heater, filter and light.

Once I get my hands on more rocks I'm making it bigger all I did was paint the back glass black.
