Lost algae eater

I have lost my algae eater. I searched the filter, heater, rock and ceramic barrel

Can be good at hiding. No chance it jumped out?

Don’t see it on the floor. Took filter apart, moved heater and nothing. Should I buy another one? Thank you

Are there any other decorations in your tank? I find that mine likes to hang under my driftwood...which is the same colour, and my boyfriend's father's pleco hides under leaves of fake plants. They are so hard to find.
