What are some good, low maintenance plants for a 55g Apistogramma tank? I plan on redoing the tank in February, and want to make it planted. I've already got water lettuce, java moss, moss balls, and duckweed that came with the water lettuce. Aside from the Apistogramma the tank will also have guppies, a bn pleco, and glowlight tetras. I've already got driftwood, and would like the tank to look natural.

I've tried anubias before in a Betta tank, but couldn't get it anchored. I'd rather avoid any plants that need root tabs, it's very low tech.

The only thing on the list that needs root tabs is the Amazon sword. It only needs it once in a while as needed.
You can attach the anubias to the driftwood. What substrate are you using?
