I have two bio wheel 350's on my 55 gal. I want to lower my ph a bit and I was wondering if I made a peat "bag" and put it in my bios...would it help lower the ph with %100 of the water passing through it? I got this idea from another post only he was using cannisters.

Right about 7.2....I have10 tiger and 10 black fin barbs, 2 bristle nose plecs, 2 snakeskin gourami, 1 gold gourami 4 panda cats, 2 pepper cats and a dragon betta.

It is going to be a bit different with the biowheels, since there will be nothing forcing the water through the peat. The water can always just go over and around it. Placing a bag of peat into your reservior will leech tannins and humic acids into your tank, but the water won't be forced through. You can give it a shot though and see what happens.
