Marineland led lights

Just got a marineland led light system. It comes with a nightlight option. When would I turn that option on? During my 10 hrs on? After? Or don't bother with it? Thanks in advance.

i would leave it on around the clock. you are only going to see it when the daylights are off. it's to simulate moonlight if i'm not mistaken.
