Wow, I didn't know that was what the juvenile looked like of them.

It's been a while so better update due to personally family issues the tank got left to get on with it resulting in a lot of the coral stock dying there was no fish loss just corals due to not having the time or the commitment to it you will remember it like this

however after all the family issues I was left with this !!

It was then time to set about bringing it back and having a clean up first was the sand bed as you can see left hand side was cleaned so can see just how bad it was !!

Next was the sump that was a complete mess !!

It now brings me upto this stage

followed by a 200L waterchange and I'll do another 200L over the weekend

May I ask why a Kenya tree in such a gorgeous system? Seems like a chance of being overwhelmed by them.

I have been the SPS and LPS route and to be honest I just don't have the time to keep ontop of a SPS reef so it was either plonk some softies in and let them get on with it or close the system down and get rid of it all. I lost just about all my SPS and LPS when me and my kids mum split up I just left the tank and it went downhill but had things that where more important going on .

So I opted for the soft corals I may in the future add some LPS and SPS again but will see how it goes.

If that's the case, you need some mushroom leathers. Won't overwhelm things and have some great varieties.

Had a nibble on finger coral and GSP and that was it not bothered touching anything else or gone back to finger coral or GSP

Loosing all the corals I did a while back was £££££ worth and the tank did not look the same bare so has been worth putting some more corals back in there is space for a few more yet
