Moonlight?

Just wondering if installing a moonlight/night light to my tank would hurt anything:

35 gal.
LR
NO coral

Fish:
2 clowns
1 Midas blenny
1 Coral Beauty

CUC:
Pep. Shrimp
Cleaner Shrimp
2 Turbo Snails
3 Red legged Hermit Crabs
Choco. chip Starfish

ALSO--Ive been having some algae problems so ive been turning my lights off most of the day, would the moon lights contribute negatively to the algae problem?

It doesn't really do anything except make it look cool and gives it a little light it is so just a small beam of light so no algae problem

Yea its mostly for show, it brings out the colors of everything of youre tank though
