Moss Ball?

Can I cut a moss ball in tiny little pieces and put them on a drift wood and let it grow? Or will it kill the moss ball? Can I make a moss wall out of it too or moss carpet?

It depends what type if moss, Marimo, no, it will form int I little balls, the other one, yes

Marmio , can I just take moss in the creek and clean them? I see them on rock growing just that I don't know to quarantine it. Any idea?

I had a broken big one. After hoping for almost a year it would grow back or make more small ones or something. But no!

So I did this, just laid it over the DW.

Did another from the other half and didn't tie it on but I will next time so it fell off when I moved some things around. Plopped it back on.

I saw on YouTube they cut it the marmio ball and made mini moss ball. I wanted to get one but since they're just ball and nothing special I didn't get any. Have you try shaping them to a different shape?
