Hey everyone,

I have a 12g tank laying around that my wife used for a school pet. When trying to find a class pet we came across mudskippers and they are stuck in my head.

Does anyone have experience with them? How to set up the tank? What materials am I going to need? Substrate? Heater? Type of filter ( I have an in tank waterfall kind and sponge filter with attached arm) What they eat and how often?

I believe the lfs has the smaller ones that only get about 2 inches long.

Any advice will be great!

I believe they suck up the thin layer of water on top of the mud on a beach and filter microorganisms out of it. I'd be interested to know what people feed them in captivity.. I've never heard of them being kept in tanks.
