My aqua reef 200

Hi all,

I've not updated for a while so I thought I would drop a post on to tell you all how I'm getting on.

So my tank has been running for 8 weeks and my stock is as follows
2 Chromis
2 ocealaris Clowns
1. Blue cheek Goby
2 blue knuckle hermit crabs
2 turbo snails
1 cleaner shrimp
1 recovering Goniopora (found him in the live rock)
Colony pom pom Xenia
Colony pulsing Xenia
Colony stony polyp

I absolutely love the Xenia they haven't been in long so have not come out properly yet but can't wait to see them pulsing it's so tranquil.

I've had some problems with Cyano recently so it's an on going saga of syphon and PWC lol. I've just started using red reef no pox so I'll let you know how I get on.

I had 3 Aiptasia and used used kalkwasser and it got rid of it straight away. Thanks to you guys and the advise.

My clowns seem pretty close so hopefully they pair up for real. Can't wait to get an anemone but early days yet.

That's it then really I'm looking forward to adding more coral and will be monitoring the calcium levels as and when I start adding more.

Definitely, I'm monitoring the calcium levels as I put more in bit by bit.

One of the next purchases will be an emerald crab I think.
