Not forgetting Stripes of course, my handsome convict cyclid, he lives with the parrots ,he throws tantrums now and again when I introduce a new fish to the tank , but settles down after a few days

I absolutely adore your blood parrots, they are one of my favorite fish and you have them in such a nice, big tank. However, I'm sad to see two "jelly bean" or dyed parrots in there :(

I know I do think it is cruel dying them and I certainly would not participate in doing such an thing, but i saw them for sale on the internet so I thought I would give them a home surprisingly after a week of them arriving their colours started to fade and now they are both nearly back to being orange which I am quite happy about. They are such a quirky little fish with individual personalities they are like naughty little children. I sit and talk to them all the time and they tip their bodies to the side like a dog would it's head . So funny

Oh, I didn't know you rescued them! I'm sorry for assuming the worst!

Blood parrots really do have such fun personalities. That is absolutely adorable how they tilt their bodies to the side like a dog would! I'm glad to hear they are doing well :)

Here a pic of my second tank the Malawis, the second pic is my favourite of them his colours are awesome
