My first Cichlids!

Finally decided to get my first cichlids ever!
2 Blue rams (a couple), and 4 bolivians (the clerk at the LFS said they
are hard to sex out, so got four, they got plenty of space in their new
home anyway.

This is so cool, they are so pretty!

good luck with the blue rams. hope they make it. i have gone through 6 blue rams and only have had one live. he is now working on day 17. all the other only lived for 2 to 8 days. and water parameter were 0,0,10 with ph of 7.4. once again good luck with your blues. and if they make it past day 10 you can get your hope up that they will live.

I have heard lots of stories about the blues being very fragile, but the bolivians seem pretty hard. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Great selection of fish. I love the rams. When I eventually do a South American Cichlid tank, I will have some too.

Yeah, I have heard the same stories about the Blues. Time will tell I guess...
They do seem to love their new home, though... in only a few hours, their colours
have become very vivid, can't wait to watch them under the moonlights! 8)
