My goldfish is turning white!

Hello guys,
My Goldfish buddy is turning white LITERALLY his scales are loosing pigment or something, he seems fine. Doesn't look sick or anything
He/she idk what gender it is sadly
(dont think im a bad mom, i love my fishes! )
Is almost 3 years old
Anyone who can help me?

Well sometimes black goldfish loss their black and it turns gold. Never heard of one loosing the gold color to white. But he looks healthy and happy so I wouldn't worry. I'd be interested in what others think of this.

Pigment loss and goldfish and other fish is a result of not enough lighting. Try to give it some light, but make sure that it is not sun otherwise you'll have an algae outburst.

I have a lot of golds that go gold and white always with in the 1st year. Mine are all pool raised and growth rate is pushed. Tanked goldfish have a slightly slower growth rate than pool raised. But they still keep growing.
