He seems to be doing ok but the way he hides I'd hate to have him rot for three days till I think to look for him... Tearing up my planted tank in the meanwhile

Which brings me to an interesting personal thought... My guideline for any tank terrestrial or aquatic is that if your animals can't successfully escape from you then they'll never truly feel safe...

I have lizards and snakes that all burrow naturally and I like to give them enough earth so if they want to create those burrows where I can't find them then so be it...

So I've been wanting to move the attention off the camboba in the middle and I wanted to continue using baby tears...

So today to quell my sorrow over computer issues I bought myself a new piece of driftwood along with some larger stem bunches of baby tears...

Not sure how much I like it truthfully but I guess a radical redo like this won't look as established hours after as the look I replaced... Guess we'll see...
