My Planted Tank

Jchillin wanted to know what plants I have so here goes....

Alternanthera reinickii.....going OK....seems to grow slow
Lysimachia nummularia.....grows slow but is in top condition
Valisneria spiralis.....growing like a weed and always sending off runners
Blue Stricta (not sure of scientific name)....growin like a weed and I am always splitting/pruning it
Ambulia sessiflora.....recovering after I pruned too heavily but seems OK now (I thought it was going to die)
Hygrophila difformis.....growing like a weed along the bottom of the tank
Ludwigia arcuata.....new plant.....growing like a weed so far. Pruned for the first time this weekend
Rotala rotundafolia.....beautiful plant....always trimming

I have another one which grows randomly, medium sized red-green leaves, fasst growth. Can't remember its name.

I have 96watts of compact fluorescent 6500/10000K lighting on a 30gal tank (3.2 watts per gall).

I am running DIY CO2 to maintain the CO2 at approx 20-25ppm

I fertilise weekly with Ferropol (contains only trace elements)

Substrate is fine gravel......

Wow...that's quite a load. I want some Ludwigia (I have an artificial one in my 30g).

How long has that tank been running? what fish are in there?

I find it interesting that you don't report algae since you're not dosing macros. Then again if the tank's only 6 weeks old, you haven't hit the bad stuff yet.
