My platy has skin peeling?

Well that's the best I can describe it. I have a 10g tank with two platies and a balloon Molly. The platies are a sunburst and wagtail. Only the wagtail has what appears to be his skin peeling, like a person after a bad sunburn. It's white and covers most of his body. None of the other fish have it. Ph is 7, soft water, nitrites are at 0 and nitrates are below 20ppm. Anyone one know what this could be?

Unfortunately my wagtail died this morning. So no pictures. I just noticed the condition on Thursday evening. I still would like any help. I would like to prevent this in the future.

im sorry it was pribably a diesies or some of ur other fish were chaseing it aroung mabye stress or biteing then they peeled and died sorry
