My sea hare looks dead but if you put a piece of seaweed in front of its head it will eat it then just act dead again. My water check was ph 8.2 and everything else at zero. I have only had him 2 weeks. My tank has been going for six months.
As you can see they are difficult to keep. They are rated as "for experts only". Also you can see that they will release a toxic dye in the tank if startled. I would read that article very carefully. As for it`s health I would say if it was eating that it would be a good sign.
