Baldy:
Seahorse + Fast fishes like clowns, wrasses = Bad, bad, bad.
The seahorse being slow is unable to compete with the fast fish like wrasses and clowns for food. They just gobble it all.
Gobies+Seahorses=A dangerous risk at best.

Seahorses + Dragonets = Ok. Dragonets are slow. Maybe a Mandarin?
Seahorses + Seahorses = Perfect.

Check this chart for fish mixing and matching: Marine Compatability Chart
It's excellent in my opinion.

As for your main tank; Sounds sweet. Hope you have it big enough for the Tangs to not fight against it eachother over space!
Good luck!

I hear what you are saying about seahorse he is doing fine and more than happy in his tank.............feeds well and has doubled in size in a short time. As for my other tank it runs with 1500 ltrs of water display tank is 8x2x2 so loads of room for the tangs to swim about. many thanks for your advice and input.

yeah i am going to post some pics this weekend so people can have a little lookie............
