I went to check on my aquarium today and noticed this
10 minutes ago I checked on my aquarium (referring to before ^) he was fine, going all around the place. Climbing up plants, skimming the surface of the water to eat. Than suddenly my snail climbed into a DIY filter with a small piece of airline tubing as a intake. It crawled in so deep that when it's body sealed it off my air pump sucked it's whole body inside. There wasn't really anything I could do now without killing it.
Has anyone had this problem before? Iv'e had this snail crawl into a piece of PVC that had like a bazillion bubbles coming out of it. It was persistent and tried to make it's way down into it. I managed to poke it out though with a soft rubbery thingy. Anyways, if something like this happens again, does anyone know how to stop it? Is there somewhere I can poke the snail or do something to make him immedietly retract or let go?
