one week ago, my male krib got a tiny whole in his gill. he was aslo breathing heavily. yesterday i came home and he was dead. any ideas what happened???

He had a hole? Was it red or white? Did it look like an injury or an infection? What else is in the tank and what size tank? What are the parameters?

the whole was red, and it looked like some kind of injury I have amecas and 3 other kribs in the tank. It's a 40g tank and the p.h is high. I'll test it again and all the other stuff to get you exact measurments but yeah...
