I just picked up a naso tang Sunday and I'm not sure if she is eating okay. She hasn't eaten anything that I put in the tank such as flakes pellets frozen brine shrimp and spirelean(sp?) Brine shrimp.

However I do see her often picking stuff off of my live rock, but is that enough for her for the time being?

most fish go on a hunger strike when introduced to a new environment. Give her a few days and she should come around. you can also use a garlic additive to make the food seem more palatable

Tangs are mostly herbivores ,,,try nori ,seaweed sheets, spinach, peas and broccoli...my tang loves all of it...While they do eat and need some meat in their diet ,,it should mostly consist of veggie matter...Personally, I would stop feeding Brine in your tank

Love the naso,,good choice

Yeah was thinkin that but mainly wanted to be sure that food that I was giving them was okay. Hopefully she will come around soon :(
