Hi all!
New to the site and relatively new to the hobby, here's a question.

I just came back from Jamaica where I went snorkeling, and picked up a few shell, this 'rock tree' looking coral and dead sea urchin shells. I want to put in my tank, I had them soaking in salt water for over a week. Is there anything else I should do? This is a good idea right? I have 2 clowns in a 45 gal, and I sure don't want to hurt them either

As long as there is no dead material that can turn into an ammonia source you should be OK.

I would scrub them really good as well to make sure there isn't anything dead left.

I have also read suggestions by others about bleaching them and then giving a good, and several, rinsings to make sure the bleach is gone as well.
