I have three African cichlids. I recently added a fourth one much smaller than the others. Can I add a fire mouth cichlid to them?

Well the good thing is they accept a wide range for pH but you do they are central American and well you have Africans. A pair of FM should have a 55 gallon and they can be very aggressive during breeding. They get about 7"

I had a bad experience with a pair. I had 6 convicts and a pair of FM and had to re home the FM they tormented my convicts.

what africans?
i agree with convict2161, thats a bad decision but possible. kinda like mine to have 2 oscars with 2 dwarf flags but they do fine ;)

i saw the auratus on your profile pic - if thats one of them i definitely do not reccomend the firemouths. the firemouths and auratus both have stinking aggressions at times and im not sure who would kill who... but if the auratus got any amount of unhappy with the SAs they are dead :( xx
