Hello!

I'm new to forum posting so please bear with me! I have a fiji live rock that has something interesting growing on it! It's driving me nuts that I can't identify it!

It looks "woody" to me. It is about a quarter inch wide and is flat. It has an opening at the top and it started as one or two, and now I have about four on the rock. It looks like it's completely attached to the rock. I have touched it and it is kind of flimsy, but has a little resistance. I will try to be better with my descriptions! I have a few pictures, possibly this could help

thank you so much!!

hopefully the pictures will show for you

How many fronds does the top have? If its 8, then its a octocoral (soft) and probably waving hand or it might be Xenia. Thats all the picture could tell me.

Hopefully these pictures can help a bit better
