You already have them so you might as well use them... for circulation if nothing else. You could use the HOB to run carbon only. Some reefers like to run carbon, others do not. Some corals can produce toxins that can be detrimental to others. Carbon can be helpful with this.

Which one of the sellers did you go with so I can use them also, (less fears of dishonest seller) Weaponspeed, hobby palace, fishman 911. Or another alltogether?
