Hello,

I have a 15 gallon tank wtih 2 Bolivian Rams and 6 neon tetras. I would love to add a pleco or some other sort of algea eater bottom dweller but there are a few stipulations. Most importantly I don't want a pleco that is going to be 24" plus! Preferably one that reaches its full growth potential at around 4-5" Also if possible one that is aesthetically pleasing would be nice. I know there are ones with spots, stripes, etc. Finally price is always and issue. I can't afford the imperial zebra or other high end, rare plecos. I would greatly appreaciate your help, comments, and advice! Thanks!

BN plecos stay small and they come in a range of colors from brown, albino, red calico, and you can even get longfinned ones if you prefer that over standard fins. My vote is for the brown BN pleco with standard fins. Keep it old school!
