I think the motor on the filter ceaseds how long can I go before it's replaced I can get it replaced in about 18 hours

From what i understand you should be fine. Make sure the media stays wet so you don't lose your BB. Do you have a bubbler or something to add oxygen to the water in the mean time? If not you may want to use a pitcher or something to scoop up some water & pour it back in every few hours.
