need Lights

Im at the point where I need lights for my 55. Dont want heat issues so metals are out. Anyone have good experience with a perticular brand? I was thinking oddysea, nova, glo dual t5 from hagen or coralife. Dont know which. Are they all pretty much the same? is it the bulb that matters?

You could always go with VHO retrofits.

Unless you mean heat radiating in the room, I use a metal halide 175 that works like a champ and Ive never had heat issues in the water or my recliner that sits next to it. And Im a hot natured kinda guy. And I personally believe that mh is the best way to go for any grow setup.
