Need some additional light to make coral colors come out?

I wouldnt add anything. 2 250's over a 55g is more than enough for anything. Only thing i would suggest is switching to 10k or 14k bulbs and using led strips for actinic supplementation instead of the 20k lighting.

Im agreeing 14k bulbs you wont get much coral growth with 20k i use 14k phoenix they have a blueish tint look real nice 10k might be to yellow and would need to supplement actinics
