Neon Tetras!

Okay so today I picked up 20 neon tetras and I have read that they have their own disease I guess? I was just wondering what the symptoms are and how I can avoid/treat it? I'm in no rush but answers

Technically, there is no cure for NTD. It can be prevented if you quarantine them for a month or two and keep up on water changes.

Yeah that's sad to here but I guess I'll just do regular stuff to prevent it.
