Starting tomorrow I shall be breaking down my 20g high CO2 plant tank and building a new 40g breeder Co2 injected tank.

I will pick up the tank and some 2x4 tomorrow to start the build but a basic outline is as follows.

40g Breeder tank
DIY stand
Miracle grow potting mix
Flora max mixed with Flourite to cap
20lb Co2 cylinder
Switching my glass diffuser for a powerhead for means of diffusion
Lighting is a DIY setup of 2 work lights using CFL bulbs
Filtration will be a sunsun canister and possibly an additional HOB

That is the basic build right now. I hope to update this post as I progress, patients isn't my best trait so the build likely won't take too long to get going and done.

Update: After a rough start, buying the wrong screws, needing a new drill bit, running out of wood and lots of sawing I did get the stand done over the weekend and the tank filled last night. Below are some pics of the build process, I won't do a write up for every picture, I'm sure just a look through will be just as explanatory.

I guess I forgot do update my progress here but I have a picture of the tank today.
Water is still staining yellow from the soil, still many water changes until that disappears.
