So ive had the 46 gal bowfront going for 2 months now and unfortunatly the home that were renting has a bad mold issue and we are forced to move to another home. Good news found a great place with plenty of room and since were moving may as well upgrade the tank.
So i bought a 75 gal reef ready all glass brand with a 200 watt jager heater 40 lbs live sand a 2 bulb freshwater light a small amiracle sump(8"w18"l14"t) with a rio 1700 pump that works along with some other misc crap. got it off cl for 150
So my question is what to do about sump action and what not.
I have going on my 46 a coralife 65 gal skimmer probably going to get another identical one and a eshoppes sump not too sure gal size(12*18*16) with a 2500 aqueon sub pump. i also have a 10 gallon laying around.
i want a refugium and all of my stuff to go in the sumps.
should i use the hob overflow along with the tank overflow?
i have plenty of power head flow (2400gph)
or should i piggyback all 3 tanks together?
i can fit all 3 under the tank and make it all work on gravity i hope(except the obvious return)
thanks for your help i will post pics soon of the new tank
