New additions- awesome cichlids!!!

I'm soooo excited... we just got home from meeting up with a guy from the local club that had a proven trio of Apisto borellis for sale. They are some of the coolest cichlids we have ever had. Here are some pics... the ruler is for size reference, we knew you all wouldn't believe us when we told you how big the male is! LOL

Oh, and before we left, the seller asked us if we wanted to rehome a fish, free of charge. He is an Aequidens tetramerus, wild caught from Peru... and WOW, what a cool fish! He's in the 120 gallon with our wild Rotkeil severum pair and some schooling fish. I can't believe this awesome cichlid was free!!!!

WOW! Congrats! They are beautiful! I have never seen a cichlid with that long of fins.

Haha, thanks guys! Mg, his females are not pictured but they were displaying breeding colors in the friggin' bag!!! We have high hopes for this trio, for sure!
