I recently purchased a Co2 regulator , reactor , and a Ph controller. I have a 150 gallon tank with overflows with 2 tidepool wet dry filter systems. The return pumps are magdrive 5's. I hooked up the system on the return side of my pumps and my reactor's endcaps popped off so I went to lowes and bought the stuff to make a diy reactor. My question is this If there is enough pressure present to do that to my reactor will the co2 be able to go through the line and enter into my tank or will the pressure be to high for the co2 to work like it's suppose to :?:

If you build a PVC reactor, so its in-line with the return from the overflows back into the tank, it should be ok.

i haven't done this, so I can't be of much help, other than to say your setup sounds similar to a couple of the guys at plantedtank.net, and their external CO2 reactor works just fine.

biggest issue though is that you'll outgas CO2 in the wet/dry filter.
