New member, confused on filtration

hi everyone. I am a new member. I've had a 36 gal saltwater fo for 2 yrs. I am in the process of buying a 125 gal. I want to go fo again and have pretty much decided to use a canister filter with an additional hob. I want to use sand. I'm confused, should I use live rock or not with this system. and someone told me to use 10% live sand. filtration has a lot of options. I don't know enough to make the right choices. Any help will be appreciated.

Welcome to AA. If you use live rock you won't need any other filter except a skimmer.. Save your money and buy aragonite sand instead of live sand and use that money to buy more liverock.
