Hey there, new member but not new to aquariums. After a long hiatus of fish keeping, it looks like I am getting back into the fray. My wife and one daughter talked me into getting a betta and a Glow Tetra and a small 2.5 gal round tank. It has begun. Tetra and betta did not get along so now betta has his own bowl(I know, i know, too small of tank and bowl, not fair to fish) i am already looking at a 20 gal high tank and switching the betta to the round tank. The 2.5 gallon tank is at the end of the bacteria process and there is now zero ammonia, woo hoo. The bowl isn't going as fast. Both get water changes 1-2 times a week but I know that can't be sustained for a long duration before burn out. I have some pothos growing out of the betta bowl and 2 annubas plants plus a snail in the 2.5. I am intrigued at the 2.5 gal tank and want it to be a success so wish me well jumping back in. Dave
