New opaline gouramis

So I bought 2 today, they are doing great with other tank mates, but they spend a long time sucking on the surface! I know this is normal at the start of their lives to develop the labyrinth organ, so are they doing this because they are juveniles? Or could there be some water parameter incorrect? Thanks!

No, gouramis always will do this.

I have Blue Gouramis and several Bettas...They all do that.

Thank you!! See I also have a paradise fish which is from the gourami family and he doesn't do that. But that might be just him ?

I have a pair of opaline also. Some days they never seem to leave the top, other days they are all over the tank. Give them some time to settle in, they'll most likely start exploring more.

Paradise fish are one of the more aggressive gouramis, he's probably already settled in.

So together with the gouramis I bought two mora Danios as I only had 3, now the Danios are at each other, specially one of them pestering the others and they seem stressed. What can I do??
