Just put in a new refugium in my 150 gallon reef tank. The refugium is small but i didnt have much room to work with in my sump. I already have copepods in the tank but wanted to assist in their population. Growing cheata algae and have a 2 inch sand bed with mud at the bottom and live fine sand on the top. Any suggestions?

You can buy pods to jumpstart the population. Set the lights to run opposite the display.

Why not just sifon (spelt wrong lol) from your main tank to your refugium just use airline tubing and shine a light in a good copepod corner and suck them into your refuge or put a porous sponge in the corner and let them inhabit it then shake it out in your refuge save u 20$
