Hi all, dont know of this is in the right place but here goes...
I have recently got a juwel vision. 180 that has a 60L sump underneath, at the moment its working as a filter for freshwater but im wanting to tun the tank to saltwater. My question is, the good bacteria in the rock is it different from freshwater to saltwater? I have a fairly large empty space in the sump where i could add a few kilos of live saltwater rock and add some into the main tank also but would the existing rock have to be cleaned and re cycled or could i just re fill with saltwater and all is good?
