Aquarium Advice Newbie
Hey all! I've been keeping fish for about 7or 8 years now I've had a 20g, 55g and a 120g.
In the 120g I have 4 knife fish and 3 elephant trunk a school of rummynose and and school of rainbow fish.
The 55 was mostly frogs and a few smaller fish but they have all been gone or now re homed to make room for a fresh start.
In the 20g tank I've had a range of small community fish and guppies.
I have a new 55g tank. Well it's an old one i want to re stock it with some new fish.
Everything is set for tank parameters and plants growing
I'm looking for some suggestions for fish. I really want a wide range of types in this tank.
Here's what I'm thinking and please welcome all feedback and suggestions. Nothing is for sure yet just kind of looking for ideas.
6 kholie loach
6 clown loach
2 German rams
6-10 of two types of phantom or rosy fin tetras
6-10 rummie nose tetras
8 harliquin rasboras
2 male guppy
And either a ruby fin shark or red kat. Shark.
Im looking to have a full active tank day and night.
Please also keep in mind I understand the size the clown loach will get and I have a 120g long tank that they will go into once they out grow this tank. I count on them being in here for max 2 years before they go to a bigger home. So for this stock they would be very small.
I feel like my bottom could be close for over stocking but I have lots of drift wood and rocks and caves along with plant coverage.
