Hey guys, I have had my tank for about 6 months. I tested my water and I have high Ph @ 8.0 and slightly high ammonia levels @ .1 what do these mean exactly. I know about the ammonia levels but I don't really understand ph... is it dangerous for my fishies? Thanks!

8.0 is high for freshwater fish, also it depends on what fish you have. For example clown loaches should be like 6.0-6.5 angels 6.5 - 7.0 goldfish 7.0 -7.5

There are freshwater fish that like and can be in a ph of 8. My ph has always been 8.2.
