I'm thinking about getting a clip on LED because I like the open top and wouldn't mind some hardscape coming out the top.

That's the type of light (Planted 24/7) that I have on the 30 gallon and I like it better than the fluval. Initially wanted to have the 30 as a planted tank until I learned that the Parrot likes to dig.
