All you need is a product that neutralizes chlorine and chloramine. Pick the one that does that and don't worry about the other one. When doing a water change you can treat the whole tank with enough dechlorinator then add new water or treat new water before adding it. You can use water from your hot tap. I do and it's fine. I would be concerned if you have a really old water heater or old pipes though.
